So. Im working on a contest entry for school, and this picture is by far the most detailed ive ever done, and it requires lots of extra time and precision. while i was getting a drink, i noticed that my inner forearm was rather sore. Talking to my dad about it (he's a professional artist), this is what he comes up with:

Im drawing wrong. apparently, when you draw like you're writing, with your arm on the table and moving just your wrist, its really bad for your arm because its just not made for that and if i had kept doing that for the rest of my life, i could get Tendonitis (sp?) and wear and arm brace and everything.

Scary stuff, eh?

the problem is, im lazy. and the "correct" way of drawing requires hovering your hand ALL the time and using your whole arm. WTC. Maybe ill just chance the Tendonitis.

And then i promised a classmate a drawing about a month ago, and im putting it off. I need to get that done, because he's been very paitent and its WAY overdue. *sigh*
